was most likely Revenge of the Creature, though it may have been The Deadly Mantis. I discovered the show pretty much when it first came to Sci-Fi. I didn't even know what it was, but as soon as I saw it while flipping past, I knew I liked it.
I saw the home game before I saw an actual episode though. And, not knowing what the show was, I thought that was an actual episode. Imagine my confusion when I saw my first real show.

All I know is that my first episode was from the first season. It was before Robot Monster, that's all I know.
I had both Comedy Channel and HA! I remember that I liked Ha! because it had the sillier commercials. (Take My Wife Please) But I was introduced to MST3k by my mom. She also showed me Fractured Flickers, which was made by the people who made Bullwinkle and Rocky. Fractured Flickers was a sixties show that chopped up movies from the twenties and thirties and looped in their own dialogue.
Funny show.
When I saw the guys out of the theater for the first time, I thought Crow was ugly. Really. I know that my first SciFi episode was Agent from H.A.R.M. (imagine how confused I was during the host segments)

I saw the last half of Amazing Collosal Man on the old syndicated MST Hour. My first whole episode (two weeks apart, but it still counts) was (naturally) War of the Colossal Beast. That's right, I had the privelage of seeing Mr. B early on in my fandom. When I finally got Comedy Central (when they already cancelled the show) I'm not sure what the first episode I saw then was, but I know it was a Mike episode. I know because I kept saying to myself "Who the hell's that guy?".

I've seen that Zoog movie about the grown ups who became kids. It was terrible.
And I miss some of the old Nick shows like Roundhouse, Space Cases and Adventures of Pete and Pete.
And I love Courage the Cowardly Dog and Powerpuff Girls but I can't into the other shows.
Celebs I've seen: Hilary Clinton (the footage of me shaking her hand was on Larry King so I can say I've been on Larry King), Bryant Gumbel, Regis Philbin and Carol Channing. I have mentioned I live in Cooperstown and I've worked at the Hall of Fame so I've seen some celebs there but I didn't know who they were until somone told me. I remember Bob Felton, Carleton Fiske (who I had to cash out and I stammered at him because I was sooooo nervous) and Rolly Fingers (who I had to give a pen too so he could sign autpgraphs and I stammered then too. I must say that that's the other reason why Angels Revenge is my favorite MST movie because after I saw the real Rolly Fingers then Clayton Forrester as Rolly Fingers the resemblence is uncanny!).) And a long time ago when they filmed League of Their Own in Cooperstown I heard Penny Marshall shouting directions inside Doubleday Stadium. There was a Shirley on the team and she kept shouting at her so it was like listening to Laverne and Shirley live. AND the red headed kids who played Kit's red headed grandkids (aka the girl in the Hall of Fame who asks "Is that you Grandma?") are all kids I went to school with.
Sorry. I rambled. I'll stop and go back to playing Sims.

It's very addictive. Especially for bitches like me who like to control people's lives. Those little Sims are so cute, what with the funny little things they do! I can see why you haven't been around, Rimmi. It was the same way with me. See you in a few weeks. (Actually, I got the Hot Date expansion for Christmas, and it's calling me right now. But I'll resist for a little while.)
I completely forgot to mention some celebrity stuff. Jason Sehorn, who plays for the Giants, went to the same community college I went to. Also, that one ugly kid from O-Town is from my hometown. Way to overcome your handicap, ugly kid! And if you have a womanly name like this kid does (Ashley Angel! Ah-HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! His mother must have hated him too), then you're left with very few career options, crappy boy band is one of them. Our local newspaper wets its pants with joy and pride every time O-Town tours through the area. Like anybody here wants to take responsibility for that.

In fact, I'll tell you a story about some of my families. I once made a Mama's Family family, with Mama, Vint, Naomi, Bubba, and eventually, Vint and Naomi daughter, Tiffany. They all ahd to sleep on couches for about a week! I put them all in the military, but then I made Mama a senator in the Congress, since she ran for mayor! So, they earned most of what they have right now, including a nice two-story house! How are they doing? Ever since Tiffany and Naomi both got hampster bites, not too well.
I once made a Gizmonics Institute, too. It was a huge G with the gears protruding out of the sides, and it took up a whole lot! I had to make the G on the 2nd story, and make Deep 13 on the 1st, and then to make it look underground, the outside walls of the first story were covered in green wallpaper! It was pretty inefficient in mobility, but at least the outside looked like the Gizmonics Institute!

I knew it! Cheaty McSpoilsport!!! I know the cheat codes, but I don't use them *most* of the time. I prefer to try to work my Sims up from the bottom. I don't usually use the money cheat unless I'm doing something really special. I've become a master at not using money. For example, many of my lots have to go for a while without walls, except around the bathroom, and whichever room the radio is in. Hey, who needs walls, right? I can afford them later! I only use the move objects cheat when I really need to, like once a couple of stupid Sims went and had a baby out in the middle of the street, out of the range of where I could tell them to feed it and stuff. So I had to move it inside. I know there's a lot of cool things you can do with that cheat though, like make them swim through the lawn and stuff like that.
I've spent way too much money on this game. I've got all the expansion packs. And I found a really cool Crow skin at SimFreaks. (They have Aquaman too.) They make the best skins! But it's a pay site now. *sniff*

I have The Sims. It's the basic version with only 9 (or so) houses.
For some reason I keep making little gen x groups. I haven't made any kids yet because I'm not ready for kids yet. They sound like too much work. Do the kids grow up into adults? That could be cool.
Do you guys know if it costs anything to download stuff off the Sims website? They have a hula lamp and I think I want it but I don't want to pay for it.
So yes, please. Any cheats would be cool!

Boring Sims Babble Mode....................................
You don't have to pay for anything at the official Sims site. You just have to register your game there, and they let you download stuff, and look at their crappy bboard, and stuff like that!
Some of the downloads there will only work if you have certain expansion packs, but you definitely want to get the ones that will work with what you have, because some of the stuff comes with secret patches to fix your game. Speaking of which, there's also an official patch that you'll want to get.
There are a lot of cheats for the Sims, most of which you'll never ever use. The two main ones that you'll probably want to know about, though, are the move objects cheat and the money cheat.
How to cheat:
Go to the buy/build mode,
Hold down Ctrl+Shift+c A small text box should appear in the upper corner of your screen
For the move objects cheat, type "move_objects on" this will allow you to move, sell, and delete just about anything (even people). But be careful. *don't ever* (for the love of Mike!) delete your outside garbage can or your mailbox (don't even move them! In fact, don't even look at them while the move objects cheat is on, ok?). For some reason this screws up the whole carpool system and maybe some other stuff. To turn off the move objects cheat, go back to the cheat mode and type "move_objects off"
For the money cheat, go back into cheat mode. If you haven't patched your game, type "klapaucius" and you'll get 1000 simoleons. If you have patched your game, type "rosebud" instead for the same effect. If you want even more than 1000 simoleons, and you will, do the rosebud/klapaucius thing, then go back into cheat mode (yes again) and type "!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;" a whole heck of a bunch of times. I think you get another 1000 for every "!".
If you screw up one of these cheats, the game will let you know. It'll say "No such cheat!" or something similar. Of course you do all this stuff without the quotation marks.

I was probably using it as you were typing!!! LOL! I love it! I'm not sure what you mean by patched but rosebud works for me. Flora doesn't have to live in poverty anymore!!! She went from 15,000 to 42,000. The Torsten siblings are rich now too. Yeah!
I killed off a Sim too because I heard they come back as ghosts (sometimes) and wander around the house at midnight. I can't wait to see that! I created a guy just to kill and typed "deadguy" in his profile just to have a ghost of my own. Neat!
Okay, I'm going back in for a bit. There are other minor cheats I want to try.
And, um, Crow is great, isn't he? He sure does crack me up.

The robot maid you can buy with the Livin' Large expansion's name is Servo. But he's nothing like the real Tom Servo. For one thing, he's big and grey, and for another thing, when you tell him to clean your house for you, he doesn't tell you to jump up his butt.
Rimmi, I almost forgot to tell you about kids. There's no reason to have them early in the game usually. Not unless you really like kids, and why would you? The only reason they're useful is because you get a tiny little tax break when you have kids, and if they get good grades sometimes their grandparents will give them 100 bucks. Also, they're really good for making friends. Kids make friends really easy, all you have to do is send them outside to play with each other all day after school. So when you get to the part of the game where you need, like, 14 friends to get a promotion, it can help to have a kid in the house to make half of those friends for you. That's really the best reason to have some. But you wouldn't need them otherwise.
Bboard members I wish were still around, huh... There are lots, but the ones that come to mind are Superfly, Goldfinger, Gracer, and yamaglonche.

I wish LazLong99/2000/2001 was still around. I really really miss him lots. He's a neat guy with a cool perspective. I hear from him once or twice a year and then he drops off..... I also liked T101 a lot, he's cool. Oh, and Panties!!!! I miss ThePantsAssociation. And DarthRaptor! And tsunami7! He was the first person ever to contact me away from the board.
